FACE TO FACE
This season local and national playwrights, collaboration and engagement are all on stage as we celebrate our 50th Anniversary Season.
STC’s mainstage series opens with Quiet! I’m Talking by Vince Grittani. This show is thoughtful, introspective and humorous.
The holiday production is a remount of our 2019 hit, Dickens’ A Christmas Carol adapted by Jeremy Webb. This holiday classic will restore that homey cheer that we all cherish.
The new year begins with the English-language world premiere of Ever Falling Flight, a dark comedy by Matthew Heiti. STC’s Francophone counterpart, TNO, is also celebrating its 50th anniversary this season. Both companies will present two entirely different versions of this play, back-to-back.
With the popularity of TV cooking programs and STC audiences’ love of comedies, This One by Denise Mader will close the season. Through memories and anecdotes, this story is loosely based on the relationship between the playwright and her mother.
STC’s Students on Stage program offers youth the opportunity to take part in a performance and production course that culminates in a fully realized production of Mining Rocks by Val MacMenemey, a celebration of the Sudbury mining community.
We invite you to celebrate this milestone season with us back in our own building… Face to Face!
